Scottish Tetrathlon
Junior Regional Competition

Hi Everyone

 For the last two years Scotland has organised a Junior Regional Competition for Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland, North of England and Wales. It has been a tremendous competition and all the children and parents have had a super time enjoying both the competition and the Scottish hospitality.  This year the North of England have been asked to host the competition, and to take it Nation wide.  
I am writing to you to invite you to send Teams to the new Junior Regional which will be held on Saturday and Sunday
20th/21st June at Thornton Watlass, Nr. Beadle in North Yorkshire. (4 miles off the A1M).  I appreciate that this is still in school term, but all our children have managed to get a Friday afternoon off or travel on Friday evening when we went to Scotland.  Northern and Southern Ireland are definitely coming in force, John Flood and Lithgo Currie have already been on the 'phone,  and I do hope that you can support this new National Regional Competition.
Initially we would like to offer each Region 20 places, 10 boys and 10 girls, however, if you have more we will do our best to accommodate them.  The Shooting and Swimming will be held at Bedale Leisure Centre, 2 miles from Thornton Watlass Hall were  the XC will be held over a BE Course using a mixture of Intro and Pre-Novice Fences.  We will also be running, stabling, camping and of course partying at the Course.
I do hope that each Region feels they can support this Competition and the Schedule and further information will be sent to you before Christmas.  If you are not now the Regional Co-ordinator for Tetrathlon please could you forward this on.
